Information for Students

General Information

Everybody is welcome to present at SOUSCC 2011. The majority of participants are fourth year students who have performed research in conjuction with their Undergraduate Degree. Other students may present research from a CO-OP work term or an NSERC undergraduate research fellowship. Presenters will be alotted 20 minutes, this includes 5 minutes for questions. There will be several symposia focusing on the disciplines of chemistry but there will be no Poster Sessions. The deadline to submit abstracts has now passed.

If you have already registered but were unable to send us your registration cheque, we will accept cash or cheque payable on March 26, 2011 at the registration desk. The cost to attend the conference is $45 for students.

Additional Information

All rooms will be provided with a PC (Windows XP or 7, PowerPoint, Acrobat Reader, Windows Media Player and Quicktime), and an LCD projector. Please bring your presentation with you on a USB memory stick. Transfer the PowerPoint file to the provided computer before the session starts. There will be someone available to help you with technical issues. If you would like to run the presentation off your own Mac laptop please ensure that you have an Apple DVI to video adapter.
