I lead the Waterloo Atmosphere-land Interactions Research group ("WatAIR") and am one of the founding members of Waterloo's Interdisciplinary Centre on Climate Change ("IC3").
My research interests lie at the atmosphere-land interface, where greenhouse gases, pollutants, water, energy, and momentum are exchanged between the atmosphere and the land surface.
Here is a featured description of one of my research themes: carbon science.
Extensive human activities are altering the concentrations of different gases in the atmosphere and the fluxes of energy and momentum, with potentially profound climate and environmental consequences.
The work in my research group seeks to understand the impact of such human-induced changes.
