For the second year since its inception, two Excellence in Science Teaching Awards were won by outstanding instructors in our faculty - Jake Fisher in Chemistry, and Jonathan Witt in Biology. Congratulations!

The University of Waterloo Faculty of Science  is inviting applications for Ontario Ministry of Research Innovation's Postdoctoral Fellowship program. These two year  awards are targeted at  those who have recently (after May 17, 2009) obtained their PhD, or expect to before Dec 2011 . Interested applicants should first contact a potential supervisor in the Faculty of Science, who will then contact the Associate Dean of Research, Faculty of Science for full details. The final deadline for all application materials, including reference letters, is May 1, 2011.
